Amma Therapy is a unique healing art based on an Asian Bodywork technique brought to the U.S in the early 1970s from Korea. As a lineage-based art, Amma Therapy has been passed down from teacher to student for generations. Amma Therapy is rooted in Traditional Chinese Medicine, which has produced transformative results for a wide array of health issues for over 5000 years.
Amma Therapy can treat similar imbalances as acupuncture. Unlike acupuncture, it does not include the use of needles. You likely have a friend or family member who’s raved to you about how acupuncture. They tell you its greatly improved one of their most frustrating health issues. You really want to try it, but you just can’t stand the thought of getting needled. If so, Amma Therapy is exactly what you’re looking for. Amma Therapy is completely non-invasive and has an incredibly nourishing and harmonizing effect. Amma Therapista use the strength and sensitivity of their hands to stimulate acupoints and provide a rhythmic circular digital pressure along energy (Qi) pathways in the body. Unlike a typical massage, oils are not necessary and undressing is optional.
Most importantly, Amma Therapy is completely side effect free. There’s literally nothing bad that can happen to you during a treatment. It’s totally safe and incredibly powerful. In addition to bodywork, Amma therapists provide recommendations for lifestyle, nutrition, herbs and mindful movement. Many people are unaware that Amma Therapy exists (though fewer and fewer every day!). Once someone tries Amma Therapy, though, they almost universally love it and cannot wait to return for more treatments!
In addition to enjoying receiving the benefits of acupuncture without the needles, clients like the combination of healing elements that Amma Therapy provides. Amma practitioners provide therapeutic bodywork, nutrition and lifestyle consultation, and a Chinese Medicine diagnosis. Amma Therapy has been described as a holistic, digestible, and common sense approach to health care. It relies on both ancient and modern wisdom, providing clients with increased vibrancy and vitality in their lives.

Why should I seek Amma Therapy from you?
I have a unique perspective and life story that has taught me a great deal about transformational change. Working in a stressful desk job for several years, I experienced many of the symptoms that you may be facing currently. I suffered through poor digestion, poor sleep, headaches, teeth-grinding anxiety and stress. I found my lunch “break” filled with hurriedly eating my microwaved (frozen) lunch at my desk while reading stressful work emails. My body was signaling to me that something was out of alignment. I just knew there was more I could be getting out of life. After plenty of soul-searching and some incredibly valuable life coaching, I made the bold decision to reduce my work hours to half-time. I then embarked on a 2+year training in Amma therapy at The Wellspring School for Healing Arts.
A huge component of my Amma Therapy program focused on personal growth. Students are given the tools and training to improve their physical, mental, emotional and spiritual health. As a result, I’ve developed an incredible level of focus, authenticity and ability to provide inspiration to my client. They are able to follow my lead and achieve faster and more effective results.
After receiving regular Amma Therapy treatments and making lifestyle changes throughout my training, I have experienced a transformation of my health and wellness. My digestion, sleep and energy levels have never felt better. I literally can’t wait to start my day.
I’d like to inspire you to make the changes necessary to experience breakthroughs in your health. I excel at helping people find deep emotional and spiritual balance in a very calm, grounded and practical way. And, I don’t think it’s random that you’ve found your way to my website.
